Marie Alexander is a cinematic pop project by Sarah Marie Picard and Noah Alexander, built on emotional depth, sonic precision, and a shared commitment to honest storytelling.

Before the project ever surfaced publicly, it existed quietly—developed over years of private writing, vocal training, and creative refinement. For Picard, a lifelong dancer and storyteller, the decision to release music came only after stepping away from creative environments that limited her voice, choosing instead to create from a place of autonomy and clarity.

That intentional evolution defines Marie Alexander.

Alexander, who spent nearly a decade working at Parsonics Studio alongside legendary producer Alan Parsons, brings a deep technical and musical foundation to the project. Together, the duo crafts music that is both intimate and expansive—balancing raw vocal vulnerability with immersive, cinematic production.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Florence + the Machine, Freya Ridings, Radiohead, Bon Iver, and Maggie Rogers, their sound sits at the intersection of emotional storytelling and modern alt-pop—where vulnerability becomes power, and personal narrative expands into something universal.

Their debut single, Into My Heart, introduces a project years in the making—one rooted in trust, creative freedom, and the courage to fully be seen.
